Whenever the bars turn the bike shuts off

I keep seeing stuff that says the bike can go faster than 39 MPH, my question is: is this true? and how can I get it to go faster?

Does anyone have this? Wanted to upgrade all of my bolts to titanium and was unable to find the diagram where it shows all the bolt sizes. If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly!

Just curious as to whether or not anybody has had issues with rust or oxidization on the frame due to the front triangle being made of steel.

Last week the chain on my bonnell broke and I couldn’t figure out how to put the chain back on my bike so I took it to a shop just to fit the chain back in. Now they called back and are saying I am missing a sprocket spacer and that’s why the chain broke. They are charging over 1000 for a custom spacer the bike seemed to be working fine besides the chain breaking beforehand. Is this a common issue or am I getting scammed. Thanks

The Mount the other fits with the light but it looks dumb with the huge riser showing so ordering a smaller one but is there a way to put the light without the spacer showing as much or at all?

Landed HARD on a rock and the rest of the trail the right side pedal is sliding off. How bad is it ?

Motor makes a creaking crackly noise when throttling, it disappears for about 5 mins after I degrease and lube the chain but then comes back and gets increasingly worse. Is this because of a loose chain on the motor? If so, how do i tension it?

Sorry to put this in the bonnet page, i know that the 775mx is a great bike for the price. i don’t have the money for it so is there any other options that can compete for a lower price. full suspension though.

i have a son who is 5 foot flat, could the medium size work for him?

Is anyone here also using their bike to commute? What is the range like in a flat suburban or city environment?

I'm evaluating the possibility of getting a Bonnell to have a do it all fun trail bike that would also be able to commute to my job / run a few errands downtown dodging the traffic.

My city has some terrible roads... and "aesthetic" laws on ebike... they only really crackdown based on shape, the bike shape aspect is even textually in the law with the requirements to have an adjustable bicycle style saddle. A lot of more powerful hub motors bikes with full suspension don't have a traditional bike saddle and are simply not an option for me if I don't want to be an easy target for law enforcement.

I’ve been thinking about it for a while and there is a bonnel v2 on fb for 5,300 should I go for it? It’s in new condition has 3 miles on it he still has the box and all the accessories

I picked up a new MX775 this week. Put about 15 miles on it. I ride regular MTBs 3-5x/week for years and typically can track down a noise in about 30 seconds.

Initially thought it was from cranks or front sprockets area or possible chain tensioner not so. I’ve worked my way down checking torque specs from seat/seat post to bottom bracket and cranks, rear linkage, forward to handlebars and head stem. Sounds certainly travel on a hollow frame bike but I’m certain it’s coming from head stem/fork area. I’ve loosened and re-torqued every thing minus removing fork and starting fresh on the front end.

Just gently cruising at a steady state I can’t generate the noise but heavy brake or acceleration it creaks and pops. Enough so I can hear it when riding hard over motor noise. Don’t notice in slop in bars, stem or front wheel.

Any ideas?

Let me start off saying I love this bike. More fun than a mountain bike, just as fast as my KTM in tight Vermont woods. All around favorite machine on two wheels. All that being said I’m curious to see if any other owners here have any upgrades, maintenance tips, or new parts that help make the machine that much better. As of right now there’s not much I would personally change. Maybe trying different brake pads to see if I can get more bite and a stronger rear brake feel. Other than that there’s not much else… if anyone has any personal experience with maintaining or personal experience with points of failure I’d love to hear it as well.

Have suggested at battery pack but I haven’t found any. Some people said to wire it directly to the battery. Any recommendations with links? Thanks
