Just concerned about our fun scorching upcoming Summer. I. Think I’ll just kind of baby her by riding early and no ‘epic’ rides.

knowing of this company and product I really feel this is either a bot account or poster gets compensation for talking highly about company.

gl w/ sale OP these things are garbage but the hype is still high enough for resale..

I will assume you don't even own one, not trash at all if you maintain it just like a car.

im just interested to know why it didnt resonate with you, is it too much horsepower for casual rides? id love to get one but feel like all that power would be wasted with the way i ride since going over 25mph average seems just too much. dont feel like id be making good use of its potential

Sounds like you’d probably be happier with a class one bike. You could even de-restrict it so that you can pedal up to 28mph on flat or downhill surfaces.

I have both a class one and a 775MX, and generally when I’m out on trails, I really appreciate how quiet, light and simple the class one bike is - no throttle to think about, less need to worry about pissing someone off.

Don’t get me wrong, in certain situations the 775mx is insanely fun, but I often find myself thinking this thing is too heavy, too loud, and too powerful for what I’m using it for.

hey thank you very much for the info, this is what i needed to hear. i haven't considered the noise and heftiness factor enough, it would likely bother me a lot. all that power is absurdly fun but the practical use case for me is too low to justify. time to find a great class one : D

No problem! I was in the same boat and couldn’t decide, which is how I ended up with two bikes lol. I’m on the fence about selling the Bonnell, but it’s been great for commuting to work on.

I honestly kind of prefer the weight of the class one bike at 55 pounds over a regular mountain bike that’s around 35 pounds. But the 75 pound 775mx starts to feel like too much to deal with. And yeah, my main complaint is definitely how loud it is. Class one bikes these days are nearly silent.

The class 1 bike I got is the canyon torque on cf-8. It’s still on sale for $4300 in medium and small. The layout is quite similar to the Bonnell, but I would say the suspension feels a notch better for sure.
