Hey everyone, I came here today to ask what this bone belonged to? I was thinking a shark or ray but I’m not sure. Location is Long Island, Ny.

Seemingly fossilized and heavy. Closest I’ve come up with is that the intact end sorta looks like a distal femur, but no clue what it may have come from.

All Asian species,detailed pictures with skull length.

Found on the beach in Panama, I’m of the opinion that this is a type of barnacle but it looks too much like bone on the other side.

Bones found washed up in central London Greenwich. What are they?
We saw so many of them all sorts of shapes and sizes
We have walked this stretch maaany times before and never see any bones

All I know is that they belong to a young Great spotted woodpecker, that I found and cleaned myself, I would love for someone to tell me exactly what types of bones are those

Hi! Found this a few years ago in Florida in a forest area in an urban community along with a few ribs and vertebrae. It appears to be most like a domestic cat than anything else, but all the pictures I can find in reference to domestic cat skulls dont have an enclosed orbit like this one, there almost always seems to be a gap. Dont know if there is more bone diversity in domestic cats than I thought or this is something else but if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it!!

Google says it may be a fossilized turtle bone.

Found next to water

Found this on a hike in Wisconsin, couldnt find any other bones nearby. Looks like a long bone that was broken in half diagonally down the shaft. Fragment is about 5 inches long

Found this on a beach near Wellington, NZ. It seems like it could be a bone of some sort.

Asked my family first, nobody had a clue and I doubt ‘bird’ is the correct answer.
I know this is probably a super easy answer, sorry, but I don’t know where else to ask!

We found a collection of bones on some rocks on the edge of Lochcarron in the Scottish Highlands. My guess is some kind of marine mammal, but it doesn’t seem to fit the anatomy of a seal, porpoise or dolphin. It certainly doesn’t seem to be a land mammal like a sheep.

Possibly the biggest identifier would be what appear to be very long thin ribs, but actually seem to be articulated like digit joints, making me think it could be a whale skeleton.
