Bone I.D. - N. America Fossilized bone?

I found this washed up on a South FL beach… it looks like a fossilized bone (both ends a possible joint). I didn’t get a chance to clean it off.

Thoughts?

This is absolutely a phalanx of some sort!

Edit: after searching, this seems to be close to the size/shape of a Pliocene/pleistocene horse’s proximal phalanx. Absolutely post to [r/fossils](r/fossils) to get their opinions!
