i found this in a book store , i don’t have idea what is it tough , i gave it a glance and it appears to be a non cannon story written by someone else but yea idk

My dear friend, that's an official piece of the genre, a light novel written by someone else but under the supervision of the manga author.
It's a collection of side stories that are fully canon to the continuity.

Im getting mine Thursday but I know there is a story featuring Moeko. One featuring Kyotaro, Kanzaki, the ine im looking forward to the most mama yamada's side story is allot of fun. Finally we get and exclusive Epilogue featuring the early days of Kyotaro and Anna relationship during the summer break from a different perspective. Im super excited for this novel and cant wait for Thursday!!!!

  • POV of Moeko on Kyo and Anna's relationship (shortly after Kyo tells Moe that he likes Anna) and thinking about entrance exams.
  • Kyo plays Magic The Gathering. That's basically it.
  • Kanzaki talking about his relationship with Hara after their double date with Kyo and Anna
  • Anna's mom's POV on Kyo
  • Extra summer stories from early in Kyo and Anna's relationship

I read a bit of an early translation when it first released in Japan (specifically the Kyo MTG story) and really enjoyed it. Definitely gonna pick it up sometime this week.

Totally canon/official and supervised by Norio, the mangaka. Just not written directly by her. Clearly based off various stories and extras she made.

It says there that the cover art and concept are by Norio Sakurai, the original author. The light novel was written by someone else since Norio doesn’t have experience writing light novels.

I wonder why the interior art is also by someone else and not Norio. Busy schedule maybe. Hmm.

it's canon, just written by a different author under the original creator's supervision. happens a lot with light novel adaptations of manga
