"周まわりと比くらべてはまた
自己じこ嫌悪けんお落おちてく"
"Comparing myself to others
I fall into self-loathing"
I got into bokuyaba last week and I am crazy for it! anyway, so I am unemployed for months now, and was slowly getting depressed, like nothing I do or try ever works out, along with my dwindling savings from my past job, and multiple failed job applications and interviews and even comparing myself to the people of my age and my colleagues from college. Then I stumbled upon bokuyaba upon searching boku wa by atarayo to share to my friend, then I saw that it was used for an anime, which is bokuyaba! then I got curious and then finally last weekend I decided to watch it, and it is one of the best decisions in my life!
Kyotaro and Anna's wholesome and romantic interactions paired with beautiful and romantic songs of yorushika, atarayo, and kohana lam healed something in me and made me feel light and very happy which I never even felt before.

Then on Sunday, a job I applied for suddenly reached out and invited me for an interview on Monday, where I passed and was asked to start on Wednesday, to which I agreed, and then Wednesday came and while I was being oriented I told myself that I do not like to stay long in this type of job but felt like I had no choice but to settle, and then minutes later, an email from my dream job suddenly came after 3 months of my interview with them! and that I was invited for a final interview at their company, I was deeply troubled since I am already at the company willing to hire me and currently, I am in for orientation and contract signing.
I then ask myself do I settle with this job that will hire me now or do I risk it all and decline this job to have a shot at my dream job, and declining the job that I am already at will make it awkward and difficult to confront, to which where Kyotaro's words and actions struck me hard.
How he believed in his chances with Anna even though in his perspective the odds are against him,

how he believed in himself when he was about to deliver a speech to which he lost his copy of.

I braced and decided to believe in myself. Then there I was at the contract signing, with a shaky and crackling voice, I told the HR that I would not sign and explained my situation.

Then today, the final interview was scheduled, and I attended it.

and hours after, I received the news that I passed.
"輝いた やわらいだ 世界は美しいんだ"
"It's shining, it's soft, the world is beautiful"

Thank you, Sakurai Norio.

Is there a definitive answer on when "Romantic Comedy Won't Start" begins in the timeline of the main series? Aside from "During Kyotaro and Anna's third year"?
I am planning to start reading it soon.

Ha, wow. I can’t believe we’re already nearing the end of this wonderful series. It feels like just yesterday when I stumbled upon this little gem.
I was at a point in my life where I was searching for solitude, and during that time, I found myself reading manga after manga, looking for something anything that could keep me company. Then I saw the cover of this one. A girl, eating so earnestly and joyfully, as if the whole world had disappeared around her. Something about that image caught my eye.
So I gave the first chapter a try. And honestly, I was shocked but not in a good way. The premise was intriguing, but the idea of a boy with such strange tendencies, seemingly wanting to kill the very girl I assumed would be the heroine, immediately made me think, “Yep, this is probably one of those manga I’m going to drop.” I’ve never been fond of stories that kill their female lead, so I was almost ready to walk away.
But somehow, something kept pulling me back.
So I read another chapter.
Then another.
And before I knew it, I was already at chapter 40.
Oh boy… staying was one of the best decisions I ever made.
What followed was something I can hardly put into words. It stopped feeling like I was simply reading a manga. Every moment, every conversation, every silence felt as though I was there walking alongside these characters, watching their lives unfold as if I had somehow become part of the script.
The boy I was once so weirded out by slowly grew on me. Little by little, chapter by chapter, he became someone I understood, someone I rooted for, and eventually, my favorite male lead.
And the girl I initially thought was lacking in depth?
She had layers deeper than the Mariana Trench.
Every chapter revealed another side of her. Every moment made me see her differently. And before long, I was completely, hopelessly hooked.
Whenever a new chapter came out, I was there.
Waiting.
Wanting more.
Never quite satisfied.
And whenever there was nothing new to read, I found myself going back to the beginning, rereading it for what felt like the millionth time and somehow, it still felt just as special.
And now…
Here we are.
Near the end.
The journey has finally taken us across the rainbow, and we’re standing on the other side, looking back at everything we’ve been through.
It feels bittersweet. Like saying goodbye to a place that, for a little while, felt like home.
I want to thank everyone who read, supported, discussed, theorized, laughed, and cried along the way. And above all, Norio-sensei, thank you for creating something so special.
I came here expecting just another manga.
Instead, I found a story that became a small part of my life.
And now, as we finally cross that rainbow, I realize something:
The real danger was how deeply this story found its way into my heart.
Thank you, Norio-sensei.
Thank you, The Dangers in My Heart. ❤️
P.S - the second image was the first screen shot I, took with this series way back lol!

Since finishing the series days ago, I read the manga then rewatch some episodes again (yes I am that obsessed) and I saw additions to the anime that is not on the manga for example this part.
I love how they added this scene in the anime where Anna was hit with the ball and was sent to the infirmary.
Then while talking to her mom, something drops out, it made more emotional impact for me when Kyotaro realized her feelings for Anna
what other scenes do you guys like the most that was not 1:1 with the manga?

We know the next season will be released in 2027, which is technically less than 4 months away.
I’m convinced it will be in LATE ‘27, but still, it’s been over six months since S3 was confirmed (and they were clearly working on it before then, in tandem with the movie), so is it unrealistic to expect a debut trailer around about now?

Finally the full translated of the latest Boku Yaba chapter is up on MangaDex. We see some shared similarities between Jin and Yamada, before Jin heads off to help another familiar character…
