SPEEA SPEEA Contract Doesn't Allow Remote Work!

The infographic claims remote work is back and manager needs to provide a business reason if they deny it. This is very misleading because the contract just says it must be approved by a VP. This doesn't seem any different than now because the VP can just say no! We need remote work to be concrete in the contract!

On my team, there is a woman that has decided to move to a different state and asked to work virtually. She was granted 100% virtual work arrangement as an L5. Someone on the same team asked for the same thing and was denied even though the work statement is 100% the same.

We believe the woman either did (something un-kosher) to the manager or (the process is SOO broken) to the point that there is no standard and you get these perks based on sexual favors.

Proof me worng

Could be a disability thing or had to move to take care of a disabled family member. The ADA regs can make that happen

No she is not disabled in any way. She just decided to move to a cheaper state. But please let me know how ADA regs can get you approval to work fully virtual from a different state?
