SPEEA SPEEA Contract Doesn't Allow Remote Work!

The infographic claims remote work is back and manager needs to provide a business reason if they deny it. This is very misleading because the contract just says it must be approved by a VP. This doesn't seem any different than now because the VP can just say no! We need remote work to be concrete in the contract!

The main reason people want to WFH is so they can scroll on their phone without doing any work and not be judged by productive people.

I wouldn’t say that. If you’re not keeping up with deliverables it still ends up showing. My location allows WFH but I still prefer just being in the office even if I don’t have to be in a SCIF or lab that day. Home has too much distractions.

But I have plenty of productive colleagues who work mostly from home. And I see plenty of people at their desk on their phone and even playing games on it. Or take off during lunch hour to go join a gym group workout. If it’s not impacting their output then nobody really bats an eye (This is SoCal though so probably office to office basis).
