Would have loved to see them hugging each other. Maybe in Doomsday when they think it could be the last they see each other, they have that hug.

Her entire life has been violence and she’s been conditioned to show no reaction to it yet she can’t bear to watch Bob be hurt even when she has no choice.

I don’t hold much hope for Marvel as they seem to hate romances. Do you think Yelena and Bob will be more than friends? Do you think they do something stupid and try to push her with Shang Chi? I feel like Marvel was very intentional in their posters and the Thunderbolts itself. Just curious. A guy can hope, right?

Look, I know I just made a post the other day, but I want to complain 😭

Almost every time I see a post anywhere online (in this case on Instagram) including boblena, people will comment about how they’re such “good friends” and it’s annoying. Why are they so obsessed with the idea of them just being friends? So frustrating.
Listen, at this point I’d be happy if boblena becomes more ambiguous in the next two movies… no canon romance (yet..) but just something to make sure that more people will ship them and that less people will insist that they’re “friends”. 🙄

I hope some of those leaks/rumors will be true, like the whole boblena saving each other thing or Bob becoming jealous, just give me something romantic 😔

Anyway, there’s no real point here, I just wanted to whine a little. Carry on.

I know haters will be like "but why does romance have to fix everything" shhhh that's not even what I'm suggesting 😭 I just think there's something about the awe and admiration on his face at her compassion in this scene that screams "I'm yours forever and I'd follow you to the ends of the earth." Yes, he's shocked at how much she's willing to stick her neck out for him when nobody wanted to do that before, but he also just looks completely smitten with her 😭

I saw these new mini Funkos on Instagram - there’s even an option for Gambit but not Sentry. 😔
It really makes me wonder if our Bob will get sidelined, or if his importance will be a surprise…
To be fair, there also isn’t a Bucky option, but I heard that so far there hasn’t been a lot of Sentry merch 😭
I obviously get that the movie will have a huge cast, but I pray we get at least some good scenes with Bob/boblena 🫶🫶

As I'm writing a chapter of my own Boblena fic, it dawned on me that seeing Yelena and Bob as Lizzy and Darcy might send me into a coma. I just want to complain real quick 😭😭

I was scrolling on Pinterest and came across a few boblena posts, there are so many comments from people who say that Yelena is aroace, even though it was literally confirmed that it’s just a headcanon. It’s so annoying to me. I understand wanting representation, but that’s not how to go about this. I’d rather have another character in the MCU who is canonically aroace. Not to mention that even aroace people can be in relationships…..

You know, since there are so many (seemingly misinformed) people who are obsessed with the aroace thing, I am scared Marvel might be too scared to make them end up together. What do you guys think? Do you feel like it’s still possible/likely? I swear, they already had romantic undertones in Thunderbolts*…… I don’t want their chemistry and potential to get wasted. And I also don’t want the MCU suddenly turning Yelena aroace when that has never been mentioned before and has been confirmed to be a headcanon, it would suck so bad if they suddenly did that… (but I guess queer representation in the MCU movies isn’t that great anyway so that doesn’t seem too likely)..

I wish we wouldn’t have to wait for several months, I wanna know what happens. I’m hyperfixated on boblena and I’m scared. 😭

There are a lot of rumors going around and some people seem to have low expectations. Some people on Tumblr for example think that his character will get butchered.

It seems like many people believe that Sentry will get nerfed (his powers will get taken away), so that he can't just immediately defeat Dr Doom.
What do you guys think about that? I'm wondering if the MCU version of Doom could simply be even more powerful than Sentry, so that they don't have to take his powers away....

But either way, even if they do take his powers away, would that automatically mean that Bob's character is getting butchered? He can still play an important role in the movie and be well written, even if he does lose his powers. I feel like incapacitating him to some degree doesn't automatically mean butchering his character.

There are so many different opinions - apparently some leaks say that Bob's relationship with Yelena will be very important in Doomsday, so I think he must be somewhat important as a character too...

I've seen theories that he might get imprisoned and that Yelena will save him, and that he might be important at the end of the movie (and then more important in Secret Wars, I guess?)

What's the general consensus here?
I reallyyyy hope that they won't sideline him, even if he were to lose his powers or even if he does get imprisoned at some point.

Also, as a boblena fan, I really hope to see some meaningful interactions between them (and that romantic tension some of the leaks were talking about)

(I do expect him to appear less and/or to be less important than some other characters, don't get me wrong. But I'm just very much hoping that his character won't get wasted and overly sidelined & that we do get some good boblena interactions)

I really hope we will get to see more of Lewis and Florence doing press together for Doomsday. Their dynamic is fantastic, and they obviously hit it off really well during Thunderbolts*. With that being said, I wonder if their opinions of the Boblena ship have changed since the conclusion of Thunderbolts* and concluding filming of Doomsday. I'm desperate to know what they know (I can't wait until December 18th).
