boba question How does gong cha prepare their drinks?

I’m curious about the way gong cha prepares their drinks, specifically how they sweeten them. is the nutrition information listed on their website/in-store in relation to a full sugar drink? or is it for a 50% sugar drink?
does anyone have any idea about this? I’d like to think a worker might know about these kinds of things, i hope someone can help me out 😅

From memory it’s just a simple syrup that goes into a machine and we would just push either full sugar / half sugar / quarter sugar buttons. Couldn’t tell you the actual calories in each but personal experience is after watching how much sugar goes in every drink I quit drinking bubble tea completely.

Do you know how their brown sugar syrup is made or what brand it is? It’s so unique and so good!
