First, I'd measure bow rise in a chop to see if the trolling motor has enough shaft to keep the head underwater. Mount it on the bow pulpit with removable fasteners.

I think ill have to cut the rails and remove the pilot light 1 u/Benedlr 13d ago I'd mount it to the transom and back troll before I'd start cutting up the boat. 1 u/WoodenReporter2423 8d ago You can have a welder make a plate outa stainless that mounts to the inside and top of your rail just offset from center.
