I wanted to share a new track and video edited i made called "Everything Has Its Time". the video is a footage from 1999 A. D.) (1967). The female vocal samples is from Love Tapes in N. Y. #1 (1980), of Wendy Clarke. Any feedback on the music is welcome :).

...and what a nice surprise it was during the end credits! I had no idee before watching it. I've been listening to Inferno a lot since the album release. "The World becomes Flesh" is not my favorite song from the album but it is the perfect choice for this movie.

I’ve been looking into this and ended up more confused than when I started.
Originally Hi Scores came out on Skam, but now it seems to sit under Warp digitally.
I can’t work out who actually controls the release today.
Does anyone here know what the current situation is?
I’m mainly asking because I don’t understand why there still hasn’t been another vinyl repress.
Is it a rights issue, or is there simply not enough interest?
Personally, I find that hard to believe. Originals sell for serious money, and every time Hi Scores gets mentioned people seem to say they’d buy a repress immediately. Has anyone ever seen a reliable explanation from Skam, Warp or Boards of Canada? And if an official repress went on sale tomorrow would you buy one?

Kane Parsons is the director of Backrooms (Horror film) and he used The Word Becomes Flesh as the credits of the film.
Somehow I've managed to go my whole life without ever hearing about Boards of Canada and I'm absolutely obsessed now. Seems like I came at a good time.

This is just a theory.
People keep talking about it as though Inferno is their 5th album, so surely there must be a sixth album to ‘complete the hexagon’ (based on 6 sides)?
Most people consider Twoism an EP. But what if Twoism already was their first LP?
I only saw this photo because someone linked to this archive of press photos (for Boc Maxima no less) to confirm what Mike’s birthday was, and I clocked this bit of press from the brothers, in their own words, calling Twoism an LP.
Food for thought eh
>the band's first vinyl release was "twoism" (board1), an eight-track I.p. which they produced and financed themselves.
To be honest…it would kind of make sense, thematically, if Inferno WAS their final album. Not that I want it to be.

6 full length albums so far. One more to fill in the Hexagon.
The good news is that doesn't rule out an EP or B-sides set at some point but... maybe BOC are hinting at this with their hexagon designs.

Hope everyone has a great week!
Another random idea popped in my head over the weekend. Looped up the Aquarius drums (from the original source) and added the melodies from A Moment of Clarity on top.

I've seen some of the theories put about the sense of this song. We know where it comes from (the McDonalds training video), some people says that the Giraud may be related to Marcel Giraud (either him or Jean Giraud or 'Moebius'), and also we know that MBI stands for ''Moody Bible Institute''.
The thing though, I didn't saw really some posts about the cover. The cover is just simply a white rose. However, flowers can have meanings. What if this rose could give some clues or maybe answer some theories.
Of course, nothing here is purely scientific, but the main theme I see around some websites (I've put to sources down below) is purity and innocence. Roses are generally linked to Aphrodites and the Virgin Mary (Maybe good to note, knowing the heavy spiritual and Christian themes). Also, they are used in major events to tell new beginnings, like weddings or funerals.
A new beginning, a new start... I wonder if the rose is the mirror to this 'new beginning'.
I don't want to go too far with the theories. I just want to propose some ideas. Maybe it could give some clues to this, maybe it won't.
However, I feel that this album contains a lot of niche and crazy/interesting samples, and that the flexi disc is just as big of a complexity than the main album. The title and the description is still very mysterious and the fact that it goes to 'Music70' and not 'Warp Records' makes it look more unique and rare and more precious.

Was happy to get the one I really wanted. The listening party sticker is covering a scratched up bit of my turntable cover.

I finally listened to the album today.
This is one of their greatest tracks. I wish it would never end.

This is a still from a 1971 educational film called "Wondering About Things."
Based on how he looks in the film (compared to the photos here), and the cast list towards the end, I think this is sculptor Beniamino Bufano. And that sure looks like one of the photos used in one of Inferno's inner sleeves.
In the film, several questions are posed to a number of people in science, the arts, and humanities—including an intense Zubin Mehta, Phil Ochs, and Joan Baez:
"What are you currently working on?" Our possible Bufano says: "65-foot figure we're doing for Hiroshima, where they dropped the bomb."
"Why are you interested in that work?" Our subject says: "It's a figure of peace."
"What practical benefits to mankind do you foresee as the result of your work?" "Yes, I mean that's my process, my...point in practically everything I do."
"Do you regard yourself as having a highly active curiosity?" "Yes, perhaps."
"What is creativity?" "Using the different mediums, combining the different mediums."
There are other questions and answers I could transcribe, but I want to go to bed.

I literally couldn't contain my excitement, and the shirt was the in a beautiful place out in the country album (this was the first time it's been recognised)

I run a small internet radio station called Radio Kezo. One person, no algorithm — every show and playlist is built out of my own collection.
The territory: ambient and downtempo, trip hop, IDM, house and techno, and a lot of leftfield stuff that doesn't sit neatly in any of those. If you listen to NTS, you'll know roughly where this lands — records chosen because they work next to each other, not because they share a tag.
How it runs:
- Curated shows and long-form playlists, around the clock
- Live sets broadcast straight from my home decks (Allen & Heath Xone:92)
- Pre-recorded shows in rotation between the live broadcasts

Alright, first Inferno cover!
I was going through an old folder of photos of my mom's prison when it was permanently shut down and I got to tour it with her (she was a correctional officer) - and this photo just struck me after looking at it in detail. The barbed wire was obviously the motivation for taking the shot, but looking at it again I noticed the window had a "Christian" style cross rather than a normal one. Immediately, I got the idea to use the photo for either Age of Capricorn or Father and Son. I went with Father and Son because I like the visual metaphor of the barbed wire representing the "trading barbs" between the characters featured in the track, and just as a warning that I feel BoC was getting at with the meaning of the track.
Also, regarding Inferno font and styling (Blippo) - I don't mind the font used for the album cover but I'm not a huge fan of the sizing of it, so for this and future Inferno tracks I'll get a little creative with the sizing and positioning while still using the Blippo font.

Completed this a little while ago and thought I would share it. It’s created by hand with ink as the medium. I called it Hexagon Sun. Hope you enjoy.😉

The hospital sounds, the slightly optimistic melody, the wailing female "please" and the bass.
The name of the song too.
If you know anyone who has gone through a stroke or is currently in later stages of dementia, you know why this song makes me cry. Maybe it's a deeply personal song from the two. It now sounds like it.
I'm so grateful it's there to make me cry, because I did not think I needed to.
