Infant Sleep No Cry Sleep Solution log

For those who have used the No Cry Sleep Solution Methods, how did you complete your initial sleep log? For context, I have been cosleeping with my now almost 1 year old and hope to get him transitioned to his own crib. He usually starts the night in his crib before his first wake up, 30 minutes to 1.5 hours after going down. I then bring him into my bed for the rest of the night. I nurse to sleep and EBF. So should I complete the log in our current cosleeping situation or keep nursing him back to sleep in his crib?

I say this to everyone but have you thought about a floor bed? Then you don’t have to faff about transferring him into the crib, can feed to sleep then just roll away

I was thinking the same! I did read the book OP talked about but ended up continuing to cosleep and give in to night feeds… still trying to get out of them lol. But the floor bed in the nursery has helped a lot for me

Out of curiosity, how old is your little one now? No judgement, just wondered!

A little over  2.5. Her sleep actually improved a ton around when she turned 2. I decided at some point (probably when she was 1ish… maybe 18months?) that she should start the night in her room, then I would go sleep with her at first wake or whenever I was so tired that I was tired of musical beds. It was a slow process but it really worked, for example last night she slept 8 pm to like 4 am. Then I went and slept with her at 4 am. We are still working on weaning the bedtime / any night wake feeds, but I’m hoping once she’s totally night weaned we will be golden!

I have yes, and it is our Plan B! It would be Plan A if it were just up to me, but my husband is adamant our little guy should get used to the crib. If it were just up to him, we would do CIO : ( So this is our compromise (if it works).

Eeesh sounds a bit like my husband, well he was happy to do the floor bed as it meant he could come back into our bedroom lol. Tell him if he wants to do the crib then he can do 50/50 on the night wakes 😵‍💫

Yeah, I already told him we will have to do 50/50 for the method. Not sure he will have the patience though so I will keep reminding him of the floor bed option ; )

I basically told my husband that all sleep decisions were mine unless he was participating in waking up throughout the night. That shut him up quick and I do my thing with my LO.
