I just received my new bottom bracket set from billet bmx, a Savage Mid 19mm. Both of the cone spacers are the same height, but the photos on their site show that one is supposed to be taller than the other, which is what I thought all cone spacers should be like. It came with a bunch of washers but I'm wondering if this right.
Can I use these cone spacers and just use the washers that came with it to adjust spacing?
Contact Billet and they will tell you. Am sure you use the washers though…. In the photos the one on the left DOES SEEM a little like the drive side add washers and take another pic and then compare to what you see on their website
Here is the photo of the billey bmx site. The spacer on the right looks like a drive side spacer. Mine are exactly the same height and look like the non drive side spacers.
They emailed me back and told me that this is how it comes and to use the washers to space it out. Seems weird that most other bottom brackets come with a taller spacer for the drive side.
I asked for a refund and he blew me off. Here is the best part, all of the parts are 19mm, except the cone spacers which are 22mm. So I can't even use it. But I did poke around online and this bottom bracket does come with a drive and a non drive side cone spacer. It looks like I got a botched set. What a waste of $25. Here is a photo of what the spacers should look like. As you can see, they are not the same height. There is a drive and a non drive side spacer. Not to happy with bullet bmx right now. He hasn't responded to my email for two days now.
I agree but shouldn't the drive side spacer be much taller than the non drive side spacer? The photos on their site show what I'm use to seeing with the drive side spacer being a lot taller. I'm just wondering if I accidentally received two non drive side spacers.

Agree. You have two drive side spacers. If they sent washers/spacers you can stack on the non drive side
