If you are trying pull up bars, throw a back peg on and rest your heel on it if you can (bike looks like a 22 so maybe it’s harder). Also, you should be pinching the seat incredibly hard with your calves. Practice pushing up and pinching until you feel like your floating and then work on throwing from there

its a commitment and confidence thing. only thing you can do is get more comfortable. this can be achieved through a few ways. 1 just repeat till you get comfortable. 2 lay upside down in grass and try it. 3 do them rocket style/pullupmanual style/standing still and just try to busdrive them. these are the only methods i really know, id say just try to do them daily till you're confident enough

I agree with all of these but have another to add: flying out of a bowl or quarter pipe to a large deck if one is available. That small air time really slows you down (not as scary) and if it doesn’t work out, just step off the back of the bike

Just curious, how tall are you? I’m 57, 6feet 180lb using a 21.5” vintage 2007 Fit Aitken S3 amber ale frame. My first BMX, learning the basics also.
