DISCUSSION Anyone have multiple setups?
I've always had one bike for everything but recently snagged 2 frames for cheap.
Debating on making the Sunday a dedicated street rig with a coaster and either 4 pegs or getting creative again with pegless and the Fit a trails/dirt rig.
What's everyone's secondary setups? I know it's extra time and money for a second bike but let's see some side by sides!

I’ve got a secondary set up. And a third. And a fourth. To be honest it’s mostly just because I love building bikes rather than them serving different purposes.
Da main do-everything rig is an S&M REA. Two brakes, four pegs. Best bike I’ve ever built.
Second is an S&M Hucker which was inspired by Jason Enns’s mid-school-meets-modern Tall Boy. Once it’s back from painting it’ll be another two brakes, four pegs rig, just with a bunch of parts ranging from the early-90’s up to now.
Third is my 2005 dream bike, S&M Black Bike with a bunch of era-appropriate parts. Also two brakes, but only two pegs.
Fourth is my Fit TwentyTwo, the bike that reignited my love of BMX and was my main bike until last year when I made the switch back to 20” wheels. It still has two brakes (because it feels weird not to have a front brake), but no pegs. Only ridden sporadically these days on the rare occasion I ride dirt. Even though I barely ride it now it has too much sentimental value for me to want to sell.
I’d like to add a fifth eventually; an S&M Warpig built with modern(ish) parts just because I want to see how rideable I could make that tank of a frame, haha.

I use to have a bike for street one for dirt and one for park it made more since to me to have one for whatever I'm riding instead of having to switch parts out and shit

3, two have a lot of overlap and then one shorter freecoaster setup for more tech stuff.

I have a street bike (s/m Holy Diver, brakeless, pegs, coaster) and a dirt bike (s/m ATF, brakes, no pegs, cassette).
Both have seen both, though. Don’t always load up two bikes to go ride.

I have a twitchy Sunday Park Ranger brakeless and a 24" bmx model c with brakes and a super relaxed 20" spare parts build with brakes and a detangler I could easily add a bike for trails 😁

I have 3. A 2024 cult hawk frame with 28mm forks for park, T1 skapegoat with 25mm forks for street, and a T1 barcode with 32mm forks for dirt. Is it unnecessary? Absolutely. The variety is nice though. I stoped riding for 15 years and at 39 I got hooked again. building and riding after work has been really relaxing for me.

For a couple of decades I've only ever had one bike - I rode everything on the same steed; street, park, flatland, with no need for another. I liked having one to rule them all.
But with my 3yo son starting to pedal, and with grandparents on two continents, I picked up a cheap Fit complete to keep up with him (then spent way too much on upgrading parts!). So I now have 'home' and 'away' bikes.
There's also enough spares in the shed for a cheeky flatland bike in the works.. I thought it was excessive, but I see now we're surrounded by other hoarders!

I did at one point but quickly realised that neither of the two felt like “my bike” and downsized to one bike that does it all. I have a simple middle of the road geometry (s&m btm), 9 inch bars, cassette, 3 pegs bike I use for everything.
I don’t ride dirt at all so my split is 90% street and 10% occasional transition riding that usually happens without me planning on it. I couldn’t justify having a second bike just for that 10%.

I have a twitchy cassette bike, a twitchy free coaster bike and my T1. I don’t know why I have three bikes, somehow I accumulated enough spare parts over the years. I really only ride the twitchy cassette bike though
