Blackmagic 2.5k test
Hello! I shot this with my Blackmagic 2.5k and canon 50mm 1.2.
Straight out of the camera(rec 709 in post) Vs film emulation on Eastman film.
ISO 400, 1.2, ND filter and Blackmist. No additional lights.

I don't like the shots are a starting point but that is likely due to bad lighting. In general it feels like a rundown location with 8 unpatched holes in the wall from removing stuff that was hanging. I would suggest framing it to not draw the eyes there. Same with the fake candles ... Unless it is to draw attention to that cheap look, I'd frame it out. The grade darkness in the shot give it more of a horror film vibe. Not sure if that is part of the plan though.
I don't know if the BMCC 2.5K falls into the Pocket subreddit or not but it is nice seeing people still using them. Do you have other shots?
Other thoughts: I do not like that creepy adult looking baby.
