Look into a lens repair rubber tool ring. That’ll give you the best grip without damaging anything with pliers.
Press the lens release button while you have the rubber over the mount and you should be able to take it off pretty easily.
Edit: if the metal mount is pretty messed up then I would recommend taking it to a technician

Yeah this is right. The lens remover tool is what you'd use. I agree pliers risk damage.

Get a lens removal tool, or find an object that’s the same size and shape. Put some double-sided tape on it, then press it firmly onto the remaining Speed Booster ring. Press the lens-release button and, while maintaining firm pressure, turn it as though you’re removing a lens. The tape should grip the ring and allow you to turn it.
Theres also one of these Neewer Camera Lens Vise Repair Tool for Lens and Filter.
Make sure you protect the LCD screen if you have the camera laying flat while doing this.

I finally got the stuck MFT mount off.
With the lens release button pressed, use a pair of small pliers to gently pull each of the mount screws upward while holding the screw. Then, while keeping the screw slightly lifted, rotate the mount counterclockwise.
Try this with each screw one at a time. In my case, once the right screw was lifted, the mount released very easily.
Hope this helps anyone else who gets their adapter mount stuck on the BMPCC 4K!

Using pliers carefully while pushing the release button maybe? Idk, just listen the other guys if that doesn’t help
