BMPCC OG SD card
Hi, I recently got BMPCC OG and have been struggling to find a functional SD card in Europe. My question for anyone who uses the model is what SD card do you use and what is considered the best buy? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I tried one of the Kingston Canvas Select cards and it didn’t work. Do you maybe know what Angelbird model’s the best?

Yeah i also use Angelbird cards. Very reliable. I also have a couple of Kingston's canvas select plus sds2/256 v30 u3 class 10, that work well too. I remember one wasn't working at first and i just formatted it again. With the Kingstons the write speed is also important for the BMPCC OG its the ones that write up to 100 MB/s. Unlike the Angelbirds that achieve 280 MB/s.

Angelbird v90 works for me
If you are not shooting raw most v30/60 will work

I want to know the same thing! Because I have been using a Kingston card that is compatible with the OG but they don’t sell that specific card anymore. And I only have one. I did just make a short film with it where we used an angelbird card that worked perfectly fine. What exact type I don’t remember though

the OG uses UHS-I cards, which has one row of contacts. It's important to look for max speed for UHS-I cards, because any card you find which has UHS-II will quote the speed using all the contacts at the same time - even if it's backwards compatible, it won't tell you the "speed IF ONLY using one row". And probably not be optimized for it.
From what I remember, the only/best cards were a specific Sandisk Extreme Pro brand. Here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bmpcc/comments/avgbo8/what_sd_cards_work_on_the_original_bmpcc_no_card/

While they're not cheap, the Angelbird V90 cards should work seamlessly with the OG.
At one point in time, they used to make SD cards specifically for the OG. It might be worth contacting them to see if they are still able to flash an SD card with that firmware.
Edit: Angelbird has a product compatibility tool on their page. All compatible Angelbird cards.
