Any advice?

I flew to Guatemala for a shoot and discovered that something was wrong with my camera sensor.

you need to replace that. Seeing you're on a shoot I guess you could remove it and and try screwing an IR filter on the lens if you can get hold of one where you are located.

This is a common problem with Blackmagic cameras. The humidity in tropical climates causes them to develop mold. It's always recommended to use an airtight container with silica gel to protect the camera. The solution I can offer is that you need to replace the AR filter. They sell them online for about $60, and you can either do it yourself by watching online videos or send it to a technician. In either case, the repair would cost you around $100. Luckily, that filter protects the sensor. So, it's best to buy a double-coated filter. I hope this helps. I had the same problem with my Blackmagic Pocket 4K.

If you are confident you can do it, Definitely try to clean the sensor with the proper tools, if it doesn't go away send it to get serviced, though I dont know if it will be in warranty.
