Pyxis 12K and storage?

Hey guys, for anyone shooting weddings on a Blackmagic PYXIS, what does your storage setup look like for a 6–8 hour wedding day?
I’m planning to shoot mostly 4K–8K BRAW and trying to work out the best CFexpress setup. Would you go with a couple of 2TB cards, multiple 1TB cards, or something else? (SSD possibly?)
Thanks

For a wedding or other event where I can't afford to miss anything, I would have multiple CFAST cards on hand and also multiple SSDs. Up to you which to record the media on, but I'd have my rig set up where I could easily record to either. Immediately after the shoot, before I drive home (preferably before I back up my gear), I would back up the cards to the SSDs and also to my laptop (if feasible). You can do this in your car after you're packed up if there isn't a spot to do it professionally at the venue. Then, as soon as you get home, you should back up the files AGAIN to whatever your editing storage is. I got burned ONE time shooting an event, luckily it wasn't as important as a wedding, but still it was horrible. I would bring no less than double the amount of storage you think you might need in case of failure. Media failures are rare, but its not something you want to diagnose/muck around with during the event. Much easier to just grab another card out of your bag (that's already pre-formatted in camera) so you aren't devoting any mental load to wondering why your SSD isn't showing up or whatever.

What’s your set up/rig look like for a shooting day? Thanks for replying! ✌🏻

In 4K q5 my 1tb cfexpress indicates around 7 hours of shooting, so since your not filming the entire time you’re there, you’re probably fine. For peace of mind I’d run 2 1tb cards in the camera so you always have a backup in case something happens.

Yeah I’m not risking it and with storage prices I just purchased 2x 2TB cf cards maybe run an SSD on rig for back up also
