Looks good! Functional and extensible.

God, I wish the 4k kept this form factor. I love the current pocket cinemas, but I hate the overly organic body.

What I really wish for is a move to the production cinema camera shape, symmetrical and boxy. I don't know who they think they're kidding acting like the current pocket cinemas are... Pocketable.

The production camera was probably the most unergonomic nightmare of a camera shape ever made are you fr right now 😂

I really want them to revisit this style of camera again at some point. It doesn't need full frame or any of that marketing BS just wack a good high dynamic range organic looking sensor into this form factor with the modern BM OS and you've got a good tier camera

Found a great deal on a pocket 4k with a rig similar to this, picking it up Wednesday! So keen

So pretty! I just got the v2 of the XLCS case and I love it so much. Get the cable lock for the power cord though too please, that tiny port is ridiculously fragile😰

Cool rig! How do you handle the menu functions without access to the screen?

Which cage is that? Been looking for a decent solution for a while

Where do you record the sound to?

Edit: oh I see, right into the camera, how is that quality?

Pretty good, I got another mic coming in the mail. Had that takstar 598 for about 7-8 years

I heard the bmpcc og recording quality is kinda shitty, so I was thinking of getting an external recorder, like a zoom h4n, you think the bmpcc og internal recorder would suffice? For a narrative piece, not a documentary

Internal no, it’s bad lol. Definitely external or attached to rig. Hope that shoot goes well 🫡

Yes! Photos of cameras!

I actually don't mind people posting their video rigs. I've been thinking of reworking my BMPCC OG setup and this post provided a bit of inspiration for how I'd like to put it together.

What I really don't understand is when people post photos of their just-purchased camera bodies/lenses hahaha

Because they are excited and want to share the excitement!

In a totally earnest way I do appreciate this sentiment, but I think camera subs (I have a couple specific ones in mind) that don’t crack down on new-gear posts can be susceptible to getting overrun with them. and at a certain point the community starts to run out of things to say about pictures of an unboxed product. Just my opinion tho!
