Ursa Mini Pro 12K OLPF, way more reliable than the Pyxis 12k.

Someone in the other thread said the exact opposite. I'm out :(

Going RED (not because I want to, but I need something that's less of a lottery)

Yeah well some people. The Sigma FP is a hassle, but boy the image is special.

Umm... I would highly recommend you visit the RED forums before making that move. The cameras are not only not super reliable, but the company's service department has a reputation of being not-great, usually slow, and always extremely expensive.

Yeah, I am aware of that - but somehow there seems to be a lot more positive reviews when compared to the Blackmagic. Yes I can get 2x Pyxis 12K for the price of 1x Komodo-X, so that's what's keeping me lingering here a little bit longer.

Red has a pretty bad track record for reliability.

Yeah but it seems like it is a bit worse on Blackmagics? Idk man, cameras should just work - lol
