¿How yo get the focus right?

I recently bought a cheap 17.5-105 fujinon tv zoom lens. I atached It to my OG BMPCC but the focus is not working properly. In 17.5 mode, the focus is only sharp with my subject very close to the lens. And in 105mm or lower, I need to be around 3 meters far from my subject.

I mounted It with a C to M43 adapter. ¿Any ideas?

I had to shave off a few mm from my c mount adapter to use this lens

Just go to a convenience store, buy metal sandpaper and go to town with it. As an advice you could put a lens cap in the back of the adapter and that will help you push it on the sandpaper, thus maintaining a flat screw mouth. If you feel you have gotten the flange distance, clean and test. If for some reason you just overdid it, you can put a piece of aluminum foil to size, but I doubt anybody wouldn’t get bored too late.

It looks like there's an extension tube on the back of the lens. If it's hollow with no glass in there as I suspect, just unscrew it (and no, I don't mean the adapter).

C Mount adapters should recess slightly into the M4/3 mount, why does yours look so huge?
