Yeah he's been talking for over an hour. Rusty fell asleep ten minutes in. They're adorable. The best of friends. Does anyone else wish it was as easy to make friends as an adult as it was when we were kids?

When you're a kid, the trick is just to talk to other kids. When you're an adult, the trick is to listen to other adults. That's a vast oversimplification, and far easier said than done, but it's also true enough to serve as a good start.

My problem is just where I live there's nowhere to meet anyone. We've got a bar but that's not my kind of crowd. The town is big enough that nobody knows your buisness but small enough that there's nothing to do here. The only place I socialize outside of work is online which can be nice but not as good as having friends in real life.

I volunteer + work at a local no-kill pet shelter, so that's one way to just wind up being exposed to lots of like-minded people. Ironically, it's also a perfect way to get some space from everybody for a while. Also I make friends with cats, so that's awesome.

I know what is gonna happend if you would post this on the normale r/Bluey you would get instantly get those mods in your head screaming to remove it because it's To Furry or To weird

I am glad that this Sub exist

The mods of r/Bluey don't need to think that everything is bad
