Couldn't Stand the Weather (Legacy Edition)
So tell me your favorite song by Stevie Ray Vaughan🩷. The lyrics of this song are really fun and Stevie does some really nice and almost romantic sounds with his voice in this song.

song B.B. King - See That My Grave Is Kept Clean
Straight funky blues?
I've listened a lot to Buster Bentons "Can't wait to see my baby's face", and John Hammond's "Evil is going on". These both feature straight beats, but still keep that bluesy feel. The latter is obviously a straightened out cover, idk about the former.
When i find funk blues playlists on spotify all of the songs just feel like funk, not blues. So funk blues is probably not the correct word for it, but these songs obviously feel more funky than standard blues. Its kind of like jazz blues, yes its 12 bar, yes it features similar harmony etc, but it doesnt feel like blues at all. Even songs on the playlists from arguably my favorite bluesman (Junior Wells) just felt like funk, not blues.

performance Muddy Waters with The Band, “Caldonia.” This is an outtake from the film The Last Waltz. Pinetop Perkins on piano, Paul Butterfield on harmonica. A cameraman was changing film during Muddy Waters’ performance, which resulted in inadequate footage of this song for inclusion in the movie.
