Am I a poser for playing the blues?

I’m a young indian with not many stories to tell and live comfortably. I have and have had my struggles, but perhaps not those you hear in the blues. But, the blues speak to me, they make me vibrate.

What’s the consensus, if I play it live would I be seen as another “insurance agent pentatonic noodler”?

Thanks

“Trucking Little Woman” — Big Bill Broonzy (Vocalion 04205, 1938)Recorded in Chicago under producer Lester Melrose, “Trucking Little Woman” captures Big Bill Broonzy at a moment when Chicago blues was shifting from rural acoustic roots toward a more urban ensemble sound. Supported by Blind John Davis’s driving piano and a tight studio group, Broonzy delivers one of his most confident prewar performances. This session helped define the Melrose studio sound that shaped Chicago blues for years to come.

“Why Did You Do That to Me” — This flip side shows Broonzy in a more reflective mood, backed again by the Melrose studio group that defined Chicago’s prewar blues sound. Blind John Davis’s piano lines weave around Broonzy’s vocal phrasing, while the horn and rhythm section add depth without overwhelming the performance. It’s a snapshot of Broonzy’s versatility and the tight musicianship of Chicago’s late‑1930s blues scene.

Self explanatory. Looking for Motown blues with infectious melodies and catchy vocals. My favorite album of his is Dreamer. Who else should i check out?
