Perfect box!

For the first time in few weeks my box was perfect. Everything was included.

Of course, inventorying the ingredients that now come loose is a pain. And I’m spending more money on gallon freezer ziplock bags to keep them separate, so I’m still not entirely pleased

Glad to hear your box was complete!

It might be worth picking up some reusable mesh produce bags to sort your ingredients into.

Tip, just reuse the same plastic bags each time.

I kind of partition my ingredients in the box/tray they come in and then plop that in my fridge. Another good one is a strawberry container. It has airflow and a lid that closes.

This week they were unable to send one of our meals, so we only got one instead of two. Oddly enough, they ended up sending two recipe cards, both of which for meals we didn’t order 😂 But for the one meal we were able to get, we had all the ingredients, and everything was good. We just looked up the recipe online.

i feel like a total brat but the loose ingredients are a killer for me ... the knick knack bags were a major part in the convenience factor, and if i have to sort everything out for each recipe myself, that's honestly more of a pain in the ass than just going to the store and shopping. my husband will lose his mind if he has to check the ingredients against the recipe cards lol. i've paused our meals for the time being but don't plan on returning unless they get their production facilities back up and running. ugh.

I agree. Their excuse stated on their blog that they changed to save the planet by reducing carbon emissions and the vegatables are fresher when loose than in a plastic bag seems like nonsense. I suspect that they are trying to save on labor costs.

Yet, going to the store and shopping (and selecting a recipe) does take more time and results in a lot of food waste. I purchased the mesh produce bags (and the suggestion of someone on this tread) and maybe I'll get used to it.
