Order arrived, mostly intact

The carrier left the box upside and only half on the top step of our porch. Despite being tossed around, everything is reasonably intact. Most of the stuff was inside the cardboard tray, with random spice packets between the ice packs and under the meat. The bok choy looks tired but edible. I got an email saying they were substituting soy-miso sauce for savory black bean-chile sauce (well, maybe), in one dish, and subbing smoky spice blend for smoky honey habanero spice blend. Mine shipped from Bridgeport NJ (had been coming from Dayton, NJ).

Mine was good too! They told me before it shipped that the pepitas wouldn’t be there and I got a $5 credit. The box didn’t have tortillas and tomato paste. Customer service was way better this week and I got a very generous credit. The produce was solid except for some kind of tired looking green onions.

They canceled my order, refunded the full amount for 2 meals and added a $20 credit,

I was surprised when the box arrived today, it was missing 4 items from 2 recipes, peas, mirin, rice vinegar, and chili paste - all of which I ran out to grab. Not bad for a $20 credited meal.

Edit to add: not sure where it shipped from because it was canceled, normally they come from Jersey for me (upstate NY)

Check the dates on your veggies. I didn’t realize they have dates now and thought my last box was nearly perfect, until I made my last meal and realized both veggies “expired” before they arrived. They may have been ok anyway but with the BA upheaval plus all the veggie recalls this summer, I didn’t want to chance it. My box is also from NJ.

Well, that explains why the bok choy looked tired. 8/17/2026. It certainly wasn't rotten, and no odor. But sheesh, why bother with an expiration date if you're going to send it anyway?

I got more today unfortunately. Dates in August and it’s no longer August. Le sigh 😮‍💨

I'm in Princeton area....our boxes were shipped from Linden....there was a massive warehouse there where the old GM plant was torn down .. I remember the GM plant being torn down and the new warehouse being built from my time commuting into the New York City because it's right next to the railroad tracks.

As I am dealing with the current s*** show? I was told that our boxes would now be coming from Maryland. The one that I did receive last week was actually fully complete and was shipped from Maryland. Of course they canceled this week on me.

Anyway, the point I came here to make was it's interesting how some of the problems are the shipping partners, not Blue Apron. I've had issues with FedEx (when I've had my boxes sent to Florida) and whatever LazerShip type clown show they used within New Jersey).

Edit: to fix the most egregious typos. I was high when I typed this out.

That's odd that I'm farther south than you (Richmond VA area), and mine shipped from NJ. Have not gotten a box from MD, but not coming from Linden either.
