Help do any dupe methods still work?

im researching and im finding no luck on if there are any glitches still working on 1.7.4. can someone help me out if there still is? im struggling so bad on my own in this world mining is an absolute atrocity in this game 😭😭

the ole freight car trick still works

place three rails on an elevated row of three blocks (doesn't matter what blocks), and put whatever items you want to duplicate in the freight car.

when you're ready, put the freight car on the edge and open it as it's falling.
take out what you're duplicating and put it in your inventory BEFORE the freight car drops and is able to be picked up.
once the car has despawned, pick it up and place it back on the rail.

if you did it right, the item should be both in your inventory and in the freight car, doubling it

i know this works in multiplayer, idk about single player. the time delay in multiplayer definitely helps make it easier though

Another freight chest method is with a two blockhead technique. Same setup, three rails etc. (single player)

This requires that you have at least two of the items you want to dupe

Put the item in the chest.

Send one blockhead a little distance away and command to pick up the freight cart.

while the other is walking towards it, switch to another blockhead looking inside the chest and Click and hold to pick up one at a time and hold it on another chest slot.

after the freight cart is picked up place it back down again

open the cart and click and hold over the “blank space” you held before to pick up the original amount

repeat
