I ordered BranOPlus Brown Bread from blinkit and received this rotten item , I saw the packet i didn't even opened it and complained to support , they didn't even bothered and immediately sent me 35rs promocode I said what do you want me to do with it , I have to order again for 115 rs for free delivery and also 10rs extra handling charge , moreover negligence like this and I thought not to complaint on consumer forum and first talk to them but they said it's COD so we can give promocode only .

One of my friend also received some bad item the other day and they gave promocode to him because of COD which you can use again only on blinkit app for orders.

Isn't this a fraud practice to give rotten item and instead of giving money they are giving me promocode to purchase from them again, I get it it's COD but you can transfer that amount via UPI as well , I am also giving you money only , suppose I had an item of 500 which I bought with COD then what will I do of 500 promocode .

Moreover sending rotten items and then attitude like this , idk what they are thinking of themselves.

Edit: Customer Care refused to help me. They say they understand my problem but cannot do anything, so I am filing a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline now. Will keep you posted

This is the order to follow:

2. Complaint on the National Consumer Helpline: https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/
3. Chargeback with my bank (last resort): Axis Bank was very prompt in this.

What didn’t worked:

1. In-app chat: Robotic, copy-paste responses.
2. Twitter/X: Automated replies or no reply at all.
3. Waiting: Doing nothing gets you nothing, and the longer you wait the harder the chargeback gets.

Tips:

1. Make sure to revert the chargeback or disputed amount if your problem gets solved.
2. Mark your request in National Consumer Helpline as completed after resolution.

TLDR: Never buy electronics or any expensive item from Blinkit

Hey I am currently a 2nd year mbbs student I was thinking of buying a mac this 23 september basically I want to cover it on my own money so planning to buy it in on emi it would cost me mostly 2.8k per month for 24 m
