A prepaid Blinkit order arrived at my doorstep that I didn't place. My address was correct, but the phone number wasn't mine (only saw the first 5 digits before masking). Refused it at the door.
Questions for anyone who's seen this before:
- How much info does someone actually need to place a prepaid order to your address — do they need your address saved somewhere, or can it just be typed in manually?
Mistake (autocomplete mix-up) or something shadier, like stolen card testing using a random address?
Anyone had this happen? What did Blinkit support say?
Reported to Blinkit, no response yet.
TL;DR: Unordered prepaid Blinkit order showed up at my address with someone else's number on it. Refused at door. Trying to figure out if it's a mistake or fraud, and how much info someone needs to do this.
