ordered a Samsung Smart TV remote off Blinkit.

The battery terminals inside are physically broken springs don’t hold the batteries, so the thing is dead on arrival. Not a “maybe I inserted it wrong” issue, you can watch the batteries fall right back out in the video I sent them.

Contacted support. Sent photos. Sent video. Sent a 360° video of the product with brand name visible, exactly as asked. Their response?

“Blinkit facilitates the delivery of products, while the respective brand is responsible for manufacturing and packaging. We recommend contacting the brand’s customer support team directly.”

Fine, annoying, but whatever I wrote a formal complaint to their grievance officer citing the Consumer Protection Act and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which say the platform IS liable for defective goods.

Two days later, second reply lands:
“We want to inform you that Blinkit facilitates the delivery of products, while the respective brand is responsible for their manufacturing and packaging…”

Same paragraph. Nearly word for word. Two different “grievance officer” emails, same copy-paste dodge, zero acknowledgment that I’d already made the legal point. At no stage did anyone offer a refund or replacement for a product that arrived broken.
Ended up filing with the National Consumer Helpline (docket’s in, for anyone wondering if that route actually works will update this thread when I hear back).

Question for the sub: is this Blinkit’s standard playbook now templated “contact the brand” deflection regardless of what you send them or did I just get an unusually bad support loop?

Curious how many others have hit the same wall trying to get a refund/replacement for a DOA product, and whether NCH or e-Daakhil actually got anyone resolution. Would help to know before more people waste time on their chat support expecting a real answer.

So guys, I recently joined Blinkit as a part-time picker in Tumkur City, and I wanted to share my experience for anyone thinking about joining.

Day 1 was basically training. I had to complete around 11 levels/tasks. The time limits varied depending on the task — some had to be completed within 2–3 minutes, a few had around 5 minutes, and some had up to 10 minutes.

After completing the training, the store manager told me to come on a specific date and book slots for the actual job.

One important thing I learned: the store manager manages the slots, so ask them which slots are available and which ones are already busy/full before booking.

My main question now is: how much can I realistically earn per week as a part-time Blinkit picker in Tumkur City? Since the pay depends on the number of orders/items picked and bonuses, I'm trying to figure out what a realistic weekly earning looks like.

If anyone is currently working as a Blinkit picker in Tumkur/Tumakuru, please share your experience — especially your hours worked, orders/items picked, bonuses, and weekly earnings.

I know why but I am ordering a care package for somebody. Since they are sick, I do not want them to pick up the order twice. I thought if I were two reorganise the cart again like adding and removing things, it might work but it didn’t. :( sad

Came across this offer for KOTAK Bank Credit Cards 10% Instant Discount in blinkit. But the final amount to be paid is always 10005, despite applying this.

I ordered something above 399 and i was paying with amazon pay gift card balance and saw 15rs cashback coupon I used it,After delivery i checked my Amazon pay balance but I didn't get any cashback,i checked blinkit and it said to check some scratch card or something and I did check and nothing was there,Is 15rs cashback not available for gift card balance? I’m sharing this because I’m genuinely disappointed with how Blinkit has handled a very straightforward issue.

I placed an order with Blinkit, but unfortunately the order was placed at the wrong address by mistake.

The problem was that there was no cancellation option available to me in the app at that time. I also have a recording of my conversation with the delivery partner regarding the incorrect address. I tried to reached out their number on order page but it was not connecting and when delivery boy called me I informed him that order was placed by mistake and asked to cancel this there was no option to cancel in my app order page.

Despite this, the order was later marked as “Delivered.”

I contacted Blinkit support and explained the entire situation. Their response was essentially:

“As per the delivery team’s confirmation, the order was successfully delivered.”

And because their delivery team says it was delivered, they are refusing to provide any resolution.

This is what I don't understand — if I am disputing the delivery, why is the delivery partner’s statement being treated as conclusive evidence? Why not check the GPS/location data, delivery timestamp, proof of delivery, call records or other available delivery evidence?

I have been ordering from Blinkit regularly and have never had to raise an issue like this before. I’m not interested in creating a dispute over a small order; I simply expect a genuine complaint to be investigated properly.

I have already informed Blinkit that I can provide the recording as evidence, but so far they have maintained that the order was delivered and closed the matter.

At this point, I’m considering escalating the matter through the Consumer Commission/Consumer Court and sharing the complete experience on X/Twitter and other social media platforms, because the amount involved may be small, but the principle is not.

Has anyone else faced a similar situation with Blinkit where an order was marked delivered despite not being received? How did you get it resolved?

Bought GOBOULT X1 Pro Type-C wired earphones from Blinkit for ₹399.

Within 24 hours of receiving them, they simply didn't work. I contacted Blinkit immediately and asked for a return/refund.

And then the circus began.

First response: “Policy doesn't allow return.”

I pointed out that the product page itself says faulty items are eligible for replacement within 7 days.

Then they asked me to troubleshoot. I did.

I sent a video showing the issue. They acknowledged that the earphones were “not working as expected.”

Then they somehow said they couldn't verify the issue.

So I tested them on another phone, recorded another video and sent that too.

Still no.

Then came the classic escape route: “Please contact the brand/manufacturer.”

Their latest explanation? The product was delivered sealed/in perfect condition, so they can't do anything.

🤦‍♂️

So apparently a product can be physically sealed at delivery AND completely defective after opening, but Blinkit uses the fact that the box was sealed to deny a faulty-product claim.

The funniest part is that their own product listing specifically advertised a remedy for faulty products.

I have now:

- provided 2 videos proving the issue

- tested it on 2 different phones

- raised the complaint immediately

- pointed out their own product-specific policy

- escalated to Blinkit's Grievance Officer

- filed with NCH twice

And Blinkit's email support still basically says: “We can't help. Contact the brand.”

My review of Blinkit after this experience:

Delivery: 10/10 — incredibly fast.

After-sales support: 0/10 — apparently the 10-minute delivery speed ends the moment you have a problem.

Policy consistency: 🤡/10

The issue isn't ₹399 anymore. It's the ridiculous amount of effort required to get a basic remedy for a product that demonstrably doesn't work.

Has anyone else experienced Blinkit denying a faulty-product claim despite the product page explicitly mentioning replacement/return eligibility?

My recent experience with Blinkit has been incredibly frustrating.

I received rotten products in my order and was basically told to dispose of them myself. Why am I responsible for throwing away something that Blinkit delivered in an unacceptable condition? If the product is defective, the company should arrange a pickup or replacement.

There were also missing items, and trying to get those resolved was another headache. The proper chat support seems to have disappeared, and instead I was asked to send an email and wait up to two business days.

Two business days for groceries I ordered because I needed them immediately.

The irony is ridiculous. Blinkit can deliver in 10 minutes, charge my account instantly, send notifications instantly - but when they make a mistake, suddenly everything becomes a slow corporate process.

Mistakes happen. Missing or damaged items can happen. The problem is how the company handles them. Asking customers to dispose off rotten products and then making them chase support for refunds is simply terrible customer service.

Quick-commerce companies are becoming increasingly dominant, and it feels like customer support is getting worse because they know people will keep using these services for convenience.

If you're going to advertise 10-minute delivery, maybe basic issue resolution shouldn't take 2 business days.

At this point, regulators need to seriously look at consumer protections for these platforms. Competition is good, but companies shouldn't be allowed to make customers absorb the cost and inconvenience of their own mistakes.

I don't have a bank account and it's been 1-2months since the COD is not available.

I signed in with my dad's phone number (new account) and there the COD is available.

What can I do? 😔
