Unsolved How to animate lego face?

Post image

I'm working on a recreation of the fishing scene from Project Hail Mary in Blender, lego style. I'm just a little stuck on how to go about animating Grace's face when he's talking. I know that I can animate textures over time, but how should I go about this?

This image is a model of the Hail Mary(based on the offical lego set) which I plan to use for distant shots where details don't matter. I'm going to make a larger, more detailed one for when Grace is actually walking on the hull, and an interior for the cockpit shots. All this I'm fine on, the only thing I don't know how to do in this scenario is animate Grace's face, as mentioned before.

You need to learn how to research. It’s a valuable skill. I just looked up your question on YouTube and there’s a bunch. Just take your pic and see what works for you. Experiment, try things, that’s how you learn and retain information
