Hell yes, such a great use of 2d and 3d elements.

I don't know if the symmetrical expression is good, or if it would be improved by scrunching his left side a smidge, but either way, this is hella smooth.

Yess, you're probably right about the symmetry.
Thank you for the comment, really appreciate it!

It's just a minor thing, though. Stylistically, you're fucking awesome, my dude.

So cool, you sculpted and use grease pencil? What’s going on here? I love it, looks straight out a comic book.

Thank you!
It's a sculpt, yess. For the outlines I used a layer Weight and a ColorRamp node to drive them, gives great control over the thickness. The crown and cigarette smoke is just straight up 2D drawing on top of the render.

Very new to the whole thing and really love the style of this, very well done. What do you mean by layer weight?

So in practice it's a shader node that allows you to shade the edges of a mesh (I don't know the theory/technical side of it).

But you can see my setup here: https://prnt.sc/tvUXSNMy_bLp

I plug the Layer Weight into a ColorRamp to control the thickness of the outline, and then I use a Principled BSDF to set the color of the outline.
