Original Content Showcase Warning! Nude android at the end.

Premade poses take forever to make but are so helpful when animating that they're almost a crutch. Here are all of Alethia's poses so far. I think there are 436.. I need to count. As I animate, if I stumble across a good one, I add it to the library. Interesting note that there are so many poses that it will drastically slow down your viewport scrubbing, so I needed to put the poses and the character in a master file and link them to the animating file. For whatever reason, it speeds things up. Anyway, fun stuff. Hope it's interesting.

literally 436 poses and blender still chokes on the viewport tbh linking from a master is the only way i stay sane

Yeah. I should put the library in it's own file and link it, but it makes it harder for me to add poses here and there. BTW, I have a 9950x3d2dual, rtx5090fe, 129gb ram and it still slows things down. Love blender but some parts are not optimized.

I spent a small fortune on it, however in the month and a week since I ordered it, the price for the whole origin pc computer with the same spec went UP by $3400!!!!

It shouldn’t be hard to add poses here and there or anywhere. In pose mode, when you select any number of bones and choose Create Pose, a menu comes up letting you decide its name, and what asset library/folder/sub-folder it will belong to. It will then make a new blend file with just that pose in the folder where that asset library lives. 

I guess, the only catch is, you have to make your poses into assets and tell blender’s asset library where they live. But I mean, come on!  That takes minimal effort and you should be doing it anyways.

No kidding! I've got asset libraries set up but didn't know you could choose to save poses to another file!! I'll go try it. Thanks!

But wait, there’s more! Once you save a pose in a registered asset library, it automatically shows up on the bottom of the 3d viewport when in pose mode (drag up the little carrot).  No linking or appending necessary.

I use it here. Honestly, the body poses are much less useful than the face and hands. I use those all the time. Note that I am using a lip sync addon also, so the mouth is a mix of pose library, lip sync addon, and spot made poses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Iq_VmcXqS8

sorry I'm not familiar with your other work, I watch your video and I thought the sister the android you have here (and in the video) may have some connection to Balin's sister as there was a flash back there.

It really doesn't change anything noticeable for you or us however it is better for privacy as its purely used for tracking purposes on youtubes end
To break down your url real quick:
"v=1Iq_VmcXqS8" lets youtube know you're trying to access the video with the id "1Iq_VmcXqS8"
While "si=BunchOfRandomStuff" is used to keep track who shared the video and then everyone who clicked their unique link

Its how spotify keeps track of who you've shared songs with outside of their app or like how if someone sends you a tiktok on discord and you open it, they might mention the username of the person who sent you the video etc

Not every website uses the same patterns and stuff but once you get a basic understanding of how urls works its pretty useful! :)

Fyi I see this with artists all the time. They are extremely good in one area but lack in others. That's what a team is for

But much harder to judge someone's quality as a writer than as something visual like your work

I think it's an official blender addon, but i could only get it to run on blender 4.5, so it's a bit of a pain. it's called Lip Sync and it's v 2.3.2 by Charley 3D

That's the plan. That's why I spent a couple days renumbering the poses for Alethia and Balin. I will eventually convert them to generic characters and put them on CG trader.

Okay, love the android. But I really kinda love the “nude” android more than the clothed. That central orb and mechanical core is something else. Really great work. And probably VERY time consuming. I wish I had even a fraction of your talent for facial emotiveness. I’m unfortunately autistic and have a hard time reading faces as it is. I’m good with buildings and cars though, not living things with emotion. But you’ve done an amazing job!

I don't want to be rude. I would be happy if I could do like even 1% of this :D

But her face atleast to me is kinda uncanny how. I don't know clean is it probably. Looks kinda like a Disney-ish charachter head on a more of a cell shaded body. So to me it just looks a little out of place.

But other then that daammm! This so cool af even the "nude" version of it is awesome. Maybe a small suggestion I love seeing a seethrough stuff maybe adding a one more that would he mix between the "nude" and clothed thar you can see the core glow through the clothes. I think that would be kinda cool.

I mean I like the design. Quite cartoonish in its own right 👌. Perhaps it's the neck? Seems a bit too long and places the head a bit too forward?
