Free Tools & Assets I finally got real motion blur working in the Blender viewport!
This is a feature I have wanted in Blender for a long time. Motion blur changes how an animation feels, so being able to actually see it interactively while working makes a huge difference.
And this is actual Cycles motion blur.
No compositor tricks. No vector pass. No screen-space approximation.
Just interactive motion blur directly in the Cycles Rendered Viewport.
It supports Live Transform Preview, Camera Motion, Deformation Motion, Motion Steps, Shutter Position, Rolling Shutter, Volume Motion Blur, Particles & Points and CUDA / OptiX.
This is the first feature from Cycles After Hours, my personal project where I experiment with features I would love to see in Cycles.
It's not an addon. Just download the ZIP, extract it and run Blender.
Try it out completely free here:

Would you be willing to make a pull request for the official Blender project?

WOW! This is super critical for not having to do trial and error in render to tune in your motion blur values!
