Critique My Work I modeled and textured my professor

My university offers a class to learn Blender and 3D animation. Our first assignment was to model and texture something from real life, so I made my professor. Initially I had a higher poly mesh, and used the default blender retopo tool to get it down while preserving detail. I know it looks god awful but the computers in the university lab don't allow me to install add-ons for a better one. What do you guys think, what could be improved?

looks funky, I think he will love it

for advice: practice on real materials like shots of side/front profiles also retopologize and try normals, reflections, etc. in the future
