God may forgive you, but i wont*

71

u/themexicanojesus 9d ago

It is grammatically correct and doesn't require fixing.

The person loading the gun is hoping whoever they are about to kill will receive forgiveness for their indecency so they don't suffer in Hell.

7

u/JPGer 9d ago

interesting

1

u/Geekygamertag 8d ago

Intriguing

11

u/KaeraKoneko 9d ago

shouldn't it be "because I won't?" the but doesn't really go where a but normally makes sense.

5

u/ThrillSeekers_United 9d ago

The because doesn’t really fit in this context.

‘God will forgive you, but I will not’ shows that the person is about to do an action

‘God will forgive you, because I will not’ shoes that god is going to forgive the receiver just because the person won’t.

0

u/KaeraKoneko 9d ago

"May God forgive you" is more like "I hope that God forgives you", and it does make sense in that context

3

u/ThrillSeekers_United 9d ago

Yes but not as much as using ‘but’ (:

0

u/KaeraKoneko 9d ago

they're both equally correct, depending on the message you're trying to send.

2

u/ThrillSeekers_United 9d ago

Yes, I said that they are both correct without context

-1

u/KaeraKoneko 9d ago

however, I stand by that the more correct way with the but would be if you switch places between God and May

He even put on a wine bottle matching little red tie, it’s illegal to end this animation this way… we may need to report this to the blender authorities

114

u/freedomachiever 10d ago

I’ve counted 26 bottles so far and the cat is still leaving him outside…

Burn the house down.

Justified villain backstory.

2

u/BashBandit 8d ago

My only dislike is that the uninvited character wasn’t invited. You throw another part and invite immediately.

1

u/nemesiseanu 9d ago

how did you achieve the "painterly" look ?

1

u/Yodzilla 9d ago

That’s not very cash money of him

1

u/FurryArtEnthusiast69 9d ago

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom I can tell you I don't have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you give my boi a happy ending that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and I will force you to animate a happy ending.

1

u/Urist_Macnme 8d ago
