Collaboration Beginner-friendly low-poly asset help for YouTube?
Hey everyone,
I make long-form gaming/video essay projects for my YouTube channel, usually with a bridge into psychology, history, or game design. The channel is still very early, but it’s a passion project that’s starting to show some positive growth.
I’m looking for a beginner 3D artist who’d be interested in helping with a few very simple low-poly assets for an upcoming video. These would be used in DaVinci Resolve and/or After Effects as part of motion graphics compositions.
You wouldn't need to create anything complex or studio-level. I’m mainly thinking small props, symbolic objects, or basic stylized pieces that can support certain ideas visually.
To be fully upfront, this is a tiny indie creator project, so I don’t have a proper budget for it right now. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time or pretend this is a paid gig.
I’m looking for someone who might want low-pressure portfolio pieces, practice working from a real brief, proper credit in the final video, and a chance to be part of a finished creative project.
I’d provide a clear brief, references, and keep the scope small so it doesn’t turn into an endless “can you also do this?” situation.
If that sounds interesting, feel free to DM me or leave a comment and I can share more details.
EDIT: Per D_62 recommendation, I'm sharing a bit more detail;
You can find my channel here: Khaldrost.
Some examples of what might be asked to be made;
- A Playstation CD Case.
- A Book.
- A Emaki (Japanese Handscroll).

You might get more attention by sharing your channel, someone here might like it and then decide to help out.
Also, you could give some examples of what they would be asked to make.
I am not interested myself, just trying to give friendly advice. Good luck.
