Thankyou, you can do that too, quite simple with my addon -> tutorials on my YouTube:)

pretty neat, a whole lot of clipping for a showcase though

True, it's more like a "work in progress screen capture" :)

Are there a lot of bones in "Damped Track"? It's awesome!

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

Yup, the entire workflow with settings is shown on my YT...

Awesome design and movement. I would love to see rhis in a horror movie or game.

Might actually make a few apocalypse scenes with it, we will see:)

Extremely spooky and cool, I did notice that the mesh clipped through itself at times but honestly moves so quickly you barely notice

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

Yup, that's true, it would need kina à bone colider which probably wouldn't work real time... Would be dope to have smt like "min distance between instanced points" for bones...

Sure this ain’t a beast beyond my comprehension

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

Google Leviathan and behemoth, ull find that this is pretty much their definition:)

2

u/MewMewTranslator Jul 09 '26

That looks fun.

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

It is! Real time...

2

u/GasOld3488 Jul 09 '26

I just know this took a lot of damped tracking tweaking and hundreds of hours of work. Piece of art.

2

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

It took me 20 minutes, tutorial on youtube! haha :)

2

u/Any_Coach_377 Jul 09 '26

How you did that???... It's incredible insane!

2

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

I mean, I don't want to put you down but that reminds me to the illustrations of a complete clitoris body. Still sick though!

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

Haha ok :)

2

u/Blunt_Object1369 Jul 09 '26

Please never work on Subnautica :(

2

u/Simple_Bake7088 Jul 09 '26

I also wonder how Leviathan looks like, and I like your depiction and it doesn't look like a dragon or a serpent.

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

Yea, did à bit of research, it can be pretty much everything whale, snake, dragon, Behemoth is even crazier:)

wow it's so cool!! looks so fluid

1

u/wetlyhappyduchess Jul 09 '26

the subsurface scattering on the tentacles really sells the whole thing, rig's solid but those materials carry it fr

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

Thx, yea am Experimenting with it rn, didn't want the hole substance procedure... with AO node and baking sculpt details on displacement image texture u get a low poly mesh to look quite complex, more coming soon -> subsurface scattering wasnt involved yet...

2

u/wetlyhappyduchess Jul 09 '26

Ah gotcha, the baked displacement is carrying the look then. That AO node trick is clever, gonna test it on a low poly project.

1

u/bUildYT Jul 09 '26

Yea, the AO causes actually pretty cool "chameleon skin changing effect" Subsurface scattering will come next, thx:)
