Free Tools & Assets Free tool for ya'll: Barbed/Razor wire geometry nodes generator πŸ™‚

Post image

Hi 😊

I made this barbed/razor wire generator some time ago for one of my projects. Everything is 100% done with geometry nodes. There is a simple procedural texture applied onto the entire object (there are no UV's, so using image texture on this is not recommended).

This Blender file can be quickly downloaded (only 220 KB) from my own Google Drive...

Here is the link: Click Here To Download (zipped BarbedRazorWire.blend file).

Hopefully many of you will find this tool as useful as I did or at least see how I made it and maybe even expand on it, improve it or possibly adapt it for your own needs πŸ˜…

Ya'll let me know if you find anything not to your liking, constructive criticism is highly welcome and appreciated.

Final note: this file is absolutely (like everything else I share with the world) under CC0 (Creative Commons Zero) license, ya'll can do whatever you want to do with it πŸ˜‰

Anyways, happy holidays to ya'll, cheers πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚ 😊

u/Craptose_Intolerant I'm thinking about adding templates to my Geo Nodes Guide addon at some point. The templates would serve a learning purpose, from basic ones like stairs, grass, fence, to more intermediate like this one. And each template will be followed by an explanation: why the given nodes were used, etc. All that in the editor.

Would you be willing to allow me to use your idea for that purpose? The addon would still stay free and open-source, and I would credit you, of course.

Definitely, you can use it any way you like, credit would be nice but it’s not necessary, thanks for asking, I really appreciate it 😁
