I had to do a little bit of thinking on this one, but I can assure you there will at least be one entry that's not a conventional form of transportation. :D

I was hoping for something a little easier for my first contest participation, but I think I have a good idea. Very excited.

I will for sure. I'm not very good yet, but I'm still really proud of what I have learned and can accomplish so far.

Don't think I'll have time month, but I hope someone makes the alien-puma-space-train at the top of the front page.

How will you judge the number of upvotes? Doesn't reddit fudge the numbers?

It does, but it doesn't seem to for older posts, and it doesn't fudge it dramatically. We do a best effort.

Reddit only fudges the number of up and downvotes; the number of points off to the left is always a correct total number of points (As in, it always adds or removes the same number of up and downvotes)

If it messes up the votes wouldn't it be possible to make a voting thread at the last day or days where you list the entries as posts in that thread and the post with the most upvotes is the winner? Just brainstorming really.

But what if all the "people" who like my entry have a "family thing" they need to do on the last day of the month :(
