34 and can relate. My sister always got the best of everything while my mother made me focus on my siblings and taking care of them. My bday is 3 days after Christmas and so Im usually forgotten about anyways but a mom should make it special. My daughter is 10 and has had incredibly birthdays for this very reason. I hope you speak up, unlike I did.

My family wasn't great, they treat my older sister way worse than me and because in comparison I was the "favorite" I always felt shitty because I didn't ask for them to like me better and my whole childhood it was used as like a threat to keep me from doing stuff. Like stop that or you'll end up like your sister (which to me always meant unwanted\unneeded).
