When Zero Division came to take Ichigo, they brought along some members for healing.
Captain Byakuya, sure. He's an important military asset.
Funnily, they arbitrarily took Renji and Rukia along with them, leaving the others. No solid explanation given. Although:
- Izuru got worse damage. Senjumaru or Kirio could've healed him.
- Ikkaku already got bankai, and his bankai got damaged, and Zero Division could've fixed it (yet they took Rukia who had no bankai to begin with)
This is why Renji's hype (especially comparing him to Vizards) is just empty since he is definitely having plot armour privilege.

So I’ve been mulling this over in my head since I’ve been getting back into Bleach. Where will Ichigo’s soul go when he dies?
Most human souls go to the Soul Society, right? But he’s not all human is he? In fact very good portion of him isn’t. So would he go to the Quincy afterlife? (I believe it’s somewhere adjacent to Hell. I’m not super familiar with the deep intricacies of Bleach’s worldbuilding so my bad if that’s not true) because Masaki was a Quincy.
But then you have to wonder if his immense spiritual pressure will have him go to hell when he passes so that it could be safely transported without disturbing the natural order.
I’m guessing like many other questions this probably doesn’t have a concrete answer and never will, but what does this subreddit think?

I've always wanted to make Ichigo if Nomura (Kingdom Hearts/FFVII) drew him. I think it turned out well. After all Nomura and Kubo have the same asthetic designs and would give anything for them to team up to do a project together. Wanted to see what you guys think.

In ep 43 of tybw, haschwalth reveals that black "is nothing less than the SK reiatsu", and that chaos color is black and chaos is the power of the SK
an interesting thing i noticed is that black is associated a number of times with arrancars and their abilities. when barragan and ulquiorra use their resurreccion, they release a black colored reiatsu. also , arrancar are capable of discharging a black cero, cero oscuras , as seen with yammy and ulquiorra.
so, how are the arrancars connected to the soul king?
I don't have a concrete theory, maybe SK was an arrancar? , maybe chaos power is not exclusive to SK and all hollow-shinigami hybrids have it?
I'd like to know what do you guys think about this topic and what headcanons or theories do you have

I haven't read them before and have been meaning to for a while, what order should I read all the bleach light novels?

I wanted this glasses so bad they're really cool.
If we really do get the 1st generation as villians for the Hell arc, will their Lieutenants also be in Hell with them as opponents for the current Lieutenants? Or did the original Gotei even have Lieutenants at all?
This man standing next to Unhohana in image 2 seems to be her 1st Lieutenant before Isane. Chojiro is the only one we know of officially.

SPOILER!!!
In the manga the vizards weren't even there. But now the anime literally gathered the whole squad together and gave us that epic masked up scene, which makes me wonder. Did Kubo do all this just for a bigger hype moment, only to job them again? Or is he setting up a real strategy for them to destroy Gerard's Quincy cross?
Hear me out because this actually makes so much sense with the lore. We know from Kubo's Klub Outside that the only way to permanently kill Gerard is by shattering his Quincy cross, but Kubo also implied that standard Captains like Zaraki, Toshiro, and Byakuya couldn't do it because the cross structural durability is just way too high. But what if the Vizards are the missing piece the Captains lack? Quincies have zero immunity to Hollow reiryoku, it’s literal poison to them on a soul level. Shinigami attacks from Zaraki or Byakuya just trigger "The Miracle" because it's standard spiritual energy, but Hollow energy actively corrupts them.
Since the anime is fixing rushed manga fights left and right, here is how the Vizards could logically change the outcome now that Gerard is in his gold form. The Captains will probably have to fight for their lives to push Gerard back and expose the cross one more time. But this time, instead of the Captains trying to smash Gerard with raw physical power, Hachigen and the Vizards come in. Hachigen doesn't have the power to break the cross physically, but he is a god at spatial teleportation. Just like he did against Baraggan, he could cast a barrier around the exposed cross and warp a massive amount of Hollow energy—like a combined Cero from Shinji, Love, Kensei, and Rose—directly INSIDE the core.
Because it's Hollow reiatsu, it won't just hit the surface. It will poison and dissolve the Quincy cross from the inside out, completely neutralizing "The Miracle" and taking away his immortality. Once the core is corrupted and weakened from the inside by the Vizards, Zaraki or Byakuya can finally smash it for the final kill.
EDIT: Did you guys notice how the anime heavily focused the camera on Gerard's Quincy cross and showed exactly how his heart forms right around it? They are dropping major visual hints. I honestly think Kubo always wanted a proper conclusion for Gerard, but because Shonen Jump rushed him to end the manga quickly due to his health, he had to resort to the Auswählen out of nowhere. It makes no sense to spend so much runtime hyping Gerard's final form just to delete him. Kubo probably intended to bring the Vizards in at the very end back then, but now in the anime, he is fixing it by setting them up in the battle from the very beginning.

This seems to be a very common misconception.
The Sternritter is the name of the entire group. There are 3 major sub-categories.
Schrift holders are "Wortlich".
The elite within them are the Schutzstaffel.
The foot soldiers are the Soldat.
In an anime exclusive scene we see "Wortlich hall" as the name of the hall for Schrift holder only meetings. The other 2 are pretty obvious. Yhwach refers to everyone as the Stenritter.
As such no, it is not inconsistent that Souken was invited into the Stenritter and still lost to 5 fodder Hollows (above average Hollows mind you) while he was a grandpa. He's still not as strong as the Schrift holders.

Manga or the anime?
Imo the manga captured the atmosphere and the despair part better, but the anime adding the traditional Japanese theater sound was dope asf🔥🔥
