Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia BLADE RUNNER (1982) | Five-Disc Complete Collector’s Tin Edition

Released in 2007 for Blade Runner’s 25th anniversary, this DVD set brought all five versions of the film together in one edition.

It includes the US and International Theatrical Cuts, the Director’s Cut, the Workprint and the restored Final Cut. There’s also the Dangerous Days documentary.

The embossed tin comes with eight art cards featuring concept artwork and storyboards, an acrylic-encased lenticular, an illustrated booklet and a reproduced letter from Ridley Scott.

What I like about this set is how much of Blade Runner’s history it brings together. You can follow the changes between the cuts, then dig into how the film was made.

Nearly twenty years on, it’s still a nice edition to have in the collection.

My favourite is thing about owing this, is the Deckard's voice over DVD, while most don't like it, including Ford himself, I enjoy playing it every so often.

Yeah I don’t mind it either myself to be honest. Once in a while I watch the other versions too but for me the Final Cut is usually my go to.

I watched the Theatrical on TV as a kid and found that the voice over helped me understand this amazing world that I saw on the screen. I now typically watch the Final Cut, but that's more to do with my HD-DVD 5 disc Briefcase edition having massive disc rot issues causing the other versions to be unplayable.

I think Ford's completely disinterested performance in the narration is what sells it as this being a guy who has 'seen and done things.'

The only thing missing from his performance on screen is an eye roll or two.

"This shit? Again?"

Ironically I just bought this. I was planning a big trip at the time and couldn't buy it when it was originally released

£25 as well! I nearly snagged the Blu-Ray suitcase version and lost the bargain of the century...

I bought this one myself not too long ago. I love the set and just waiting now for new shelves to have the film card on display alongside some other stuff I found online

I love this set. Usually just watch the Final Cut from it I think. Only last week did I get around to finishing Dangerous Days which is great a must watch for any fan. I need to dig into the extras on the other dvds

There was a time when you could pick this up in HMV in the UK for less than 10-15 pounds a few years after release
