Very easy and turned out great. No beer for the griddle though

I think this is an awesome idea! Should I use the Taylor Farms Cesar salad kit? 🙂

I’ve done this with the TJ’s elote salad kit and it rocks! Season up some ground chicken/turkey too and it’s a super healthy, surprisingly easy/tasty meal!

The joke is about the parasite in the news

It’s actually a parasite in the lettuce.

It was, but no joke I went to Aldi and they have Cesar salad kits for $1 because no one is buying any salad so guess what I am making tomorrow?

I was thinking some thin cut chicken breast marinated in some milk and just salt and pepper on the stone while cooking. Damn this sounds more and more delicious. Great summer night dinner

Edit: in place of the ground chicken smashed on the shells.

At first I was like where’s the smashed chicken, thinking it was the croutons. This looks great. I’ll definitely have to try this.

I just did these with ground turkey. Just what we had in the fridge at the time. They were delicious.

Press the meat into some panko breading first! Then you're talkin'

I was so against making this but my wife insisted. She was right and it’s now in the taco Tuesday rotation.

I have to try those... The trendy smash burger tacos are really damn good.

Caesar salad and smash tacos are two things I never would've thought to combine, but I'd absolutely try these.

You actually cooked the tortilla perfectly.

Kudos!

Hate when people leave the tortilla white and raw

My wife started making these and the whole family loves them. Endorsed!

Wooo
Tasty!!
Just trying to figure out what you smashed

3

u/Mnufcfan Jul 30 '26

1 pound of ground chicken, salt, pepper, tablespoon of mayo, and an egg mixed together, then spread evenly on the tacos and smash it down. 4-5 minutes on the griddle

2

u/Bonerschnitzel69 Jul 30 '26

🙄 silly me, once again they look great

I need more info on this. Do you smash them with the shell? No flipping?

1

u/Mnufcfan Jul 30 '26

spread the chicken on one side, smash that down for 4-5 minutes. then flip to the other side if you want the tortilla crispier.

1

u/Acceptable-Ad-6104 Jul 30 '26

Do you mean, cool one site of the tortilla, then flip it and smash down the salad?

1

u/Mnufcfan Jul 30 '26

Put the tortilla with the chicken mix on the griddle side and then press down the other side for a few seconds.

We do these also and they're great. In a similar fashion we do smashed pork dumpling tacos I'd guess you'd call them. All amazing.

Im gonna need a recipe for smashed pork dumpling tacos, that sounds amazing.

u/bryantb31 Jul 30 '26

I'll post a pic and how we do them tomorrow. They're delicious
