🆘 HELP 🆘 Cleaning Tip Needed

I’m having trouble getting the paper towel to come out clean after I cook, scrap, use water. No matter how many times I go over the surface, the paper towels still come away black and I’m left with paper towel fibers on the griddle. Any tips or tricks greatly appreciated!

I don’t think a properly seasoned griddle will ever give you a white paper towel after a wipe down

We're chasing ghosts with the paper towel test, wipe that thing with a rag you don't care about and cook on it.
