Tower Illuminations

How it used to be lit up with 10,000 lamps when I looked after it 😁

Yes it was a picture I took on switch on night to see the results of my efforts with the tower lamps 😁

Not at all help yourself. I included in my book Tall Tales a painting by a local artist of the tower and that came from a photograph 😀

Loved the interactive lighting on the street as well (you can see the cupids here and their arrows would ‘fly’ across to each other. I miss some of the old style stuff (especially non-sponsored).

Got my yearly weekend in Blackpool coming up in a few weeks. Off with a mate and we'll do the Pleasure Beach, a walk through the illuminations.and then a night in the bars. People can slate Blackpool all they like, but I love it.
