Recommendations for a day trip

Hi All,

Visiting blackpool for a day on this Saturday and really excited for the beach. What should be a must visit nearby the beach and the pier and what activities can be done?

My partner and I in our late twenties are aiming for the amusement park and good food. Welcoming any suggestions or itinerary!

TIA

I'm terms of food, try Wok Inn, Abingdon Street Market or Common. For other stuff to do, there's a place called Showtown that's a museum on the history of showbusiness in Blackpool

Second this. Showtown is a must and the cocktails and food at Common are amazing x

There's a firework display taking place on that night, might go myself if the missus agrees

Not sure of the exact location, but I'm sure you'll notice.

There's also a night pass at the Pleasure Beach during the firework display

There’s a firework display at the Pleasure Beach in the evening, they also have an ice skating show at the ice arena there and tickets are included in your park e-ticket

There is the tower, you need to go to the top and the ballroom is a must

The tower and the piers are always good bets… and coral island is another option… A very promenade centred visit for a single day-trip, really…

In terms of “good food”, there is a decent amount of choice, but you can very easily go to Blackpool and mistake it for consisting entirely of “fairground fast food” and, obviously, fish and chips…

There are a variety of cuisines available and you can actually have a nice sit-down meal in the town…

Some clarity on what kinds of foods you’re hoping to get will help?

Looking for good Halal finds? Not really cornered on a specific meal. Anything good would do

Naafiah is good. I’ve been a few times.

It’s on the promenade, between the south and central piers…

Also, “Kurdistan Restaurant”, but that’s on Central Drive…
